As this chapter comes to a close, I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who supported me throughout this journey. The voters who believed in me, the friends and family who stood by me, the members of the city that answered my questions, and the incredible volunteers who gave their time whenever they could. Your dedication and spirit truly reminded me how community should feel.

Congratulations to those elected and thank you to every candidate who took the time to contribute by voicing their vision of Fitchburg moving forward! Our city will only continue to become stronger when more voices take part in the shaping of its future.

This candidacy was never about me - It was about being a voice for our neighbors, our community, and our future generations. I will never forget how I felt in the moment that pushed me to pull papers or my mother's response when I told her I was doing it. She thought this was about as crazy as when I told her I was opening a rage room. I was taught that if you can do something to better a life you need to go for it, even if you may never see them again. I was never involved in politics prior to 6/24 and truly had no idea how to run a campaign, but I couldn't just sit back without trying to be the change I felt our city needed.

This experience has taught me so much! I am forever grateful for all the people I met along the way, the parts of the city I had never seen, all the new experiences, and the incredible sense of unity felt.

Although the results weren’t what I hoped for, my commitment to our city remains as strong as ever. I’ve been working diligently to help Fitchburg progress however I could, and that work will only continue. Progress doesn’t come from a council seat or from an election - it comes from determination, collaboration, and a shared belief in what’s possible.

This election cycle may have ended, but my vision for a better Fitchburg has not. Together, we’ve built a movement grounded in hard work, filled with hope, and from the heart. I'm grateful for today and inspired for tomorrow. Together we will! As this chapter closes, remember this book is just beginning!
